The life of David Rowntree, ’54, can be divided into three eras. There were the years before he turned 17 and met his beautiful wife, Marge. Then there were the 68 years they spent together. Finally, there are the years since Marge began her life in heaven and he continued his life on earth.
Rowntree shares his story in his autobiography, “My Life, A Wonderful Journey.”
Rowntree had a love of the building trades and dedicated his life to building homes and changing lives. He previously had only written term papers and love letters, but came to realize in recent years that he’s unwittingly become what he describes as a reluctant author. “My Life” is his fourth book
