Kerry Gleason, ’82, has released the second installment of the technology-driven “Heaven Ride” thriller series, titled “Heaven Ride: Book 2, Blood Red.”
The “Heaven Ride” books incorporate the spirit of Rochester, Gleason’s hometown. The main character – who may be a hero or a villain – is David Brownington, a graduate of Bishop Kearney High School and St. Bonaventure University.
“Heaven Ride” is a tale of technology gone awry with the highest of stakes. The first book of the trilogy inspired readers to think about whether it would be possible to travel to heaven and return from the trip. In “Blood Red,” Brownington becomes a target of assassins when he tries to shut down the flawed invention.
Gleason, who lives in Denver, is a freelance brand marketing consultant and covers NFL football for a national newspaper. He has written three novels, three screenplays and several published short stories and humor essays. “Blood Red” is available through Amazon.
