Current Job: President of Ingrassia Family Funeral Homes

To all the class of 2020:

It is with very mixed emotions that I write this letter to all the graduating seniors. I am sorry that you will not have a formal graduation in May, but so happy that you are joining all the fellow alumni of St. Bonaventure University. I am one of three in my family of four children that graduated from Bonas. I can still say they were probably the best years of my life!

These past six weeks have been some of the most difficult years in my career of 35 years as a licensed funeral director. Our family has always been proud of the service we provide families in their time of need. These goodbyes have been so difficult in this pandemic we are living thru before our eyes.

You graduating seniors are in a situation where you are not experiencing senior week and graduation which culminates the four long years of study, sacrifice and some fun. Keep in touch with your fellow graduating seniors and work hard in your upcoming careers. Stay BONAS proud and BONAS strong!

And let us keep in mind the quote from our Saint Ketari, “Make the most of a fleeting moment as it shall not return.”

Best of luck in the years ahead.
