Dear graduates of St. Bonaventure University 2020,
I am speaking to you as a ’76 graduate. Although we all hear that this is a tough experience for seniors of 2020, my myopic thoughts are ONLY of you college seniors at St. Bonaventure University.
I am SO sincerely sorry that you are not there, enjoying every last day, class, finals, but mostly the photos, quotes, memories of your distinguished class. It was never just counting 100 days until graduation.
There were events, sad, good & wonderful that could only have occurred on our beloved Franciscan campus … right through our snowy Senior Week. But on our beautiful graduation day, life was pretty perfect! Please be reassured that your knowledge, love, hugs, and gratitude for the BEST education, FRIENDS, and spiritual values, will remain in your hearts forevermore. Please enjoy your postponed graduation 2020 with healthy family & friends! Once a Bonnie, ALWAYS a Bonnie! Congratulations to you ALL, especially in your career pursuits!
