Dear Class of 2020,

You have all just experienced the best 4 years of your lives as St. Bonaventure Bonnies. You have received the best education and learned how important it is to give back to the community and be there for one another as Franciscan values were instilled into each and every one of you.

You have made friends that turned into family and will be a part of your life forever. You grew not only as a person but as a Bona family. You all need to be strong and there for one another during this difficult, difficult crisis and time of uncertainty. It is what we do as Bonnies. We stick together and lean on one another. Nobody will ever be able to take away the memories you’ve made and the wonderful experiences you had as a St. Bonaventure student. All of your hard work and dedication will be recognized and celebrated through Commencement, when it is safe and the world is in a better place. You will have your time to shine as you all deserve. Walking across that stage in the RC will be one of the proudest moments of all of your lives. The Class of 2020 will soon be a part of one of the best alumni bases in the world.

I am thinking of you all during this hard time. Just know, this will pass and things will get better. Until then, stick together and do not lose hope. “Once a Bonnie always a Bonnie.”
