Class of 2020,

Congratulations on all your achievements! I hope by now, you’ve started to realize how amazing of an experience it is to attend St. Bonaventure. The people you’ve grown to love and the memories you’ve made will stick with you for the rest of your lives.

Not a day goes by that I don’t’ see or talk to a friend or alumni from Bonaventure. You are now part of one of the most special groups on Earth and that is the alumni of SBU. As you continue to higher education or the workforce, always remember that there are a lot of Bonnies out there to help you on your journey. Never forgot what you have learned during your time at this University. Work hard to be the best you can be at whatever you choose to do with life. Think back to the memories you have of Bonaventure when times get tough. It will always put a smile on your face.

To my brother and best friend Jonathan…I am so incredibly proud of you! I hope your SBU experience was everything I hyped it up to be. I am glad we got a chance to experience it together. I hope you and I have started a Bonaventure legacy that will continue down the Clancy family line. I wish you nothing by the best as you enter your MBA program and eventually into the workforce. Work as hard as you can, which I know you always do, and know that I am always here to help and support you. We have so many wonderful memories together from SBU! I am so glad we got to experience a Bahamas trip together. It was one of the best memories I will ever have. Whenever I move back home, we are going to be season ticket holders with mom and dad. I don’t know about you, but I miss listening to Ben in the student section during games. I wish I could be there to share all these moments with you, but know I am always thinking of you. I love you buddy! Keep up all your incredible work and enjoy Lighthouse. Eat as many Burton burgers as you can. “Ooh aah, the Bonnies on a warpath!”
